Volunteer Training

On Sunday 27th April, lots of our volunteers attended training on our operational procedures, rigging and hoisting. (Heads up - these photos may well feature in an end of year caption competition!) It was a blustery and chilly day, and the images of people standing around a boat on a dinghy park in big sailing jackers and plenty of warm layers is probably a familiar sight to many sailors! That is the point - Chesil Sailability is just like any sailing club, a group of people who are all passionate about sailing. The only difference with us is that some of us have disabilities. Thank you very much to Marcus for running the day's training, and to everyone who attended for their commitment, enthusiasm and support! Team Chesil is taking great shape for our 2014 season!
