Royal Visit!

On Friday, HRH Prince Edward and HRH Sohpie, Countess of Wessex, visited Dorset to met various local groups, including Chesil Sailability! Two of our sailors, Philip Hall and Jane Buckle, who are also a Trustee and Volunteer Co-ordinator respectively, joined John Tweed and Adam Greaves from the Chesil Trust to meet the Royal couple! They met at the Weymouth Community Fire Station, and they took a real interest in Chesil Sailability. Philip Hall said "It was a real privilege to be involved and very enjoyable too." Jane Buckle said "I was so proud to be representing and highlighting the work of both our volunteers and sailors on such an important occasion." Thank you to Jeremy Pope and everyone else for organising the day which ran so smoothly, and to Prince Edward and Sophie for their time and interest.
