Brass Band and Afternoon Tea
On Sunday 20 July ,the warm sun and cooling breeze helped us with a perfect English Summer Tea at All Saints Church Wyke Regis. The tea was to die for - wonderful music, homemade strawberry jam, scones and cakes - chocolate, fruit, carrot, coffee, lemon drizzle, pineapple, Victoria sponges, almond & apple, rhubarb flan, chocolate chip, date & walnut, ginger … all superb. It was so nice to see old friends and new and the Chesil Sailability message reached a different group of people with such a positive response. Thanks to ‘Brass Tacks’, Rector Rev. Deb Smith, the Mayor Cllr Kate Wheller and the amazing Ladies Sailing team the event made £400.
